Fire Risk Assessment

On-site audit identifying hazards and documenting controls per Australian Standards and insurer requirements.

On-site assessment

Our risk assessment visits a site, identifies fire hazards, evaluates the existing controls, and documents what's needed to satisfy Australian Standards and your insurer's requirements.

What you receive

  • Site visit and walkthrough by an experienced assessor
  • Written risk register with severity scoring
  • Gap analysis against AS 1851, AS/NZS 1841 and the Building Code of Australia
  • Prioritised recommendations with indicative pricing
  • Photographic evidence of identified hazards

Typical timing

Small office (under 200m²): half a day on site + 1 business day for written report. Large warehouse / multi-tenancy: 1-2 days on site + 3 business days for the report.

Equipment Supply & Installation

Extinguishers, blankets, hose reels, signage and detection equipment — supplied and professionally installed.

What we supply

  • Fire extinguishers — all classes (A, B, E, F + lithium-ion), AS/NZS 1841 compliant
  • Fire blankets — kitchen, workshop, vehicle
  • Fire hose reels and hydrants — AS/NZS 1221 compliant
  • Smoke alarms and detection systems
  • Exit and emergency lighting
  • Compliant fire safety signage

Professional installation

We don't just drop equipment off. Each item is professionally mounted to the right height, in the right location per code, with correct signage, security tag and a blank maintenance record tag for ongoing servicing.

Service & Maintenance

Scheduled six-monthly and annual servicing per AS 1851. We track the calendar so renewals never slip.

Per AS 1851

Australian Standard 1851 requires fire safety equipment to be inspected and serviced on a six-monthly and annual schedule, with records maintained for audit. We handle the whole calendar for you.

How it works

  • We add your equipment to our asset register at the time of installation (or on first service visit for existing kit)
  • You receive a calendar of upcoming servicing dates 12 months ahead
  • We attend on the scheduled date, perform the inspection, replace consumables, sign and date the maintenance tag
  • You receive a digital service report within 48 hours, retained on file for compliance audit

Out-of-cycle

If an extinguisher is used or damaged, call us on 07 3348 8089 for replacement or recharge — 24-hour critical response for service customers.

Fire Safety Training

On-site fire warden, evacuation and extinguisher-use training. Practical drills with your actual equipment.

On-site training

We deliver fire safety training at your premises, using your actual equipment, in your actual evacuation routes. Trainees walk away with practical, site-specific knowledge — not a generic classroom certificate.

Course options

  • Fire Warden training — 4 hours. Role, responsibilities, evacuation procedures, equipment familiarisation.
  • Extinguisher use — 2 hours. PASS technique, class identification, hands-on practice with live extinguishers.
  • Evacuation drill — variable. Coordinated whole-site drill with debrief and improvement plan.
  • Combined annual refresher — half day. Wardens + general staff in one session.

Certificates

All courses include attendance certificates and a digital training record for your compliance file.

Compliance & Certification

Annual statements, evacuation plans, signage audits — documented compliance with low-disruption delivery.

Annual statements

If your building requires a Form 16 or annual statement of fire safety, we prepare the documentation, schedule any outstanding work, and submit the certified statement on your behalf.

What's included

  • Signage compliance audit (egress, equipment location, hazard warnings)
  • Maintenance record review and gap remediation
  • Evacuation plan preparation or update (AS 3745 compliant)
  • Annual statement preparation and submission
  • Document pack provided for your insurance and council files

For multi-tenancy buildings

We work directly with body corporate managers and building owners to keep the whole-of-building compliance current across all tenancies. Contact us for an introductory meeting.
